    KEY FACILITATORS

    Ms Christine Sim is the CEO of The Entre Club Pte Ltd and CEO of RHT HR Consulting Pte Ltd and CEO of New Step Search Pte Ltd.  She has over 30 years of deep and extensive knowledge in Human Capital services ranging from talent acquisition to business transformation. Christine mentors and coaches entrepreneurs at various stages of their business life cycles.  She is the book advisor and mentor to the co-authors of “Why You Should Fail” which features top 25 entrepreneurs in Singapore so that they can share their wisdom in how to minimise business setbacks from the onset.

    In  the non-profit sectors, Christine is an honorary consultant to Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation (a 50 year old International Non-governmental Organisation).  She is also the Vice-Chairman of BizLink Centre Pte Ltd (A 35 year old IPC charity for the disabled and vulnerable community). Christine is also a Strategic Advisor to Odyssey Dance Theatre Pte Ltd (a 25 year old charity in Arts and Dance).  She is also a co-owner of A Good Space Co-operative (the first changmakers’ co-operative in Singapore).  She has  sat on the executive committee of ITE College East and was a distinguished judge on the ITE Lee Kuan Yew Technopreneur Award.  She was a mentor at the Shell LiveWire Entrepreneurship Programme.  Her areas of passion is about mentoring and equipping others to unlock their fullest potential.

    A life-long learning advocate, she has completed  her post-graduate studies in Business Administration at University of Adelaide.  She is pursuing her Doctorate (Education).  She is also a professional member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and is a member of the Singapore Business Federation – Women’s Entrepreneur Network.

    Her mottos – “Live and Leave life with few regrets” and “Carpe Diem!”

    Alex Chow is Founder and Chief Consultant at Asia Leap for the past 15 years, where Asia Leap as a business consultancy has provided consulting and learning solutions to organizations across Asia. Having been in the field of organization development and learning for over 20 years, he had held various positions in organization research, regional training, internal HR consulting and hospitality training for conglomerates and multinational companies.

    As the Chief Consultant in Asia Leap, Alex has been forming unique specialist solution teams in Asia for client organizations. Asia Leap had established collaboration with individuals, partnerships and companies across Asia, Europe, USA, Latin America and Africa to form localized solutions to address unique situations of organizations.

    The solutions teams addressed specific issues such as Strategy Facilitation, Business Action Learning, Cross-Cultural Situations, Sales Force/ Service Team Development, New Talent Acceleration, Fair Employment Practices and several senior executive search assignments. Several of the clients were regional initiatives for mid to senior level executives and entrepreneurs in international companies and conglomerates operating in various locations and sectors.

    Asia Leap now has a cumulative volume of case studies of unique situations in organizations in Asia, which Alex is ready to share with others to help them learn.

    Besides project leadership, Alex specializes in executive development with action learning, teamwork and cross-culture savviness. He has designed sessions and facilitated participant in different parts of the world across industries.

    As an Adjunct Faculty at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), he has pioneered an Executive Action Learning program in 2006, where he facilitates and coaches a diverse group of working-adult executives using a blended learning approach to solve real-world organization issues faced. To date, the program has seen close to 10,000 participants solving problems and learning together.


    Alex holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and also an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency. Alex speaks English, Chinese, Cantonese and basic Korean.

    Kang Liang leads the digitalization and innovation consulting practice at Growth.sg, bringing with him extensive experience in high-growth, high-tech companies. He combines data, flair, and a personal touch in generating customer demand and product adoption for start-ups, SMEs, and established enterprises.

    Under his stewardship, Growth.sg has tripled its scale since inception, and has worked on projects for over 30 enterprise clients. He has led and won tech/digital mandates from local SMEs and startups, including channel integration, UI/UX, and design consulting for clients such as The Kettle Gourmet, SpaceChain, and TUMI. He has also consistently trained clients’ internal staff on digital usage and topics around digitalization, innovation, and technology.

    Having previously worked at leading consumer startups in the SEA region such as ShopBack, Glints, and Kaodim, he is well-versed in growing, scaling, and launching new markets through digital channels, including SEO/SEM, social, paid media, CRM, and partnerships. He was also actively involved in product management/analytics and user experience for web and mobile.

    In his prior B2B experience, Kang Liang has also applied a consultative sales approach to attain top sales at social media agency Kobe. At Kobe, he also planned and executed media acquisition campaigns for leading brands such as Fragrance, Dodo, Julie’s, and Circles.Life.

    Before working on Growth.sg full-time, Kang Liang ideated, founded, fundraised for, and headed two tech startups over two years: Swapie, a fintech platform, and Gifting.sg, a social enterprise. Both startups closed due to low traction and the pandemic.

    Outside the practice, he is heavily connected with the early-stage startup scene in Singapore. He consistently serves as advisor and mentor to startup teams under the wings of National Youth Council, 500 Global, NUS Entrepreneurship Society, and Social Impact Catalyst, relating to newly minted entrepreneurs his experience in being a founder in tech.

    Kang Liang holds a B.Sc. (Economics) from Singapore Management University, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Singapore University of Social Sciences. He is also an accredited WSQ trainer – with an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) from Workforce Singapore.
